AI Quadrupled Sergia's Sales in Three Months, CEO Ahmed Yehia Says
Sergia CEO Ahmed Yehia said the company's adoption of artificial intelligence and process automation increased sales fourfold within three months while significantly improving customer satisfaction.
Ahmed Yehia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sergia Healthcare Services, said the company's adoption of artificial intelligence has driven significant business growth, with AI-powered personalization helping to increase sales fourfold within two to three months.
Speaking during the Select Conference, Yehia said AI has also played a key role in improving customer experience, with automated internal operations helping raise customer satisfaction to 92%, up from 76% previously.
AI and Data Analytics Drive Business Performance
Yehia explained that selecting the right technology depends on the specific challenges facing a business, whether those relate to internal operations or evolving customer and market needs.
He noted that artificial intelligence and data analytics have become essential tools for improving operational efficiency, optimizing decision-making, and delivering more personalized customer experiences.
According to Yehia, using AI to tailor offers based on customer preferences was one of the primary factors behind Sergia's rapid sales growth over the past few months.
Addressing Challenges in Medical Supply Chains
Yehia said Sergia was founded eight years ago to solve two major problems in the medical supplies sector: the widespread availability of counterfeit medical products and the difficulty healthcare providers face in accessing trusted suppliers.
Since its launch, the company has developed a digital healthcare supply chain infrastructure across Africa, connecting hospitals, medical centers, global suppliers, authorized distributors, banks, financing institutions, and logistics providers through a unified platform.
He said this integrated ecosystem helps improve supply chain efficiency while supporting healthcare providers with more reliable procurement processes.
Expanding Digital Transformation
Yehia added that Sergia has expanded its use of technology to digitize and automate a broad range of internal operations, supporting the company's expansion plans while strengthening operational efficiency, governance, and service quality.
He concluded that investments in artificial intelligence and data analytics have enabled Sergia to enhance its services and achieve accelerated growth, underscoring the increasing role of advanced technologies in transforming the healthcare sector.
