TikTok has begun testing a voice-calling feature within its direct messaging system, allowing users to make calls without leaving the app.

According to reports, the feature is currently available for users connected as friends on the platform and includes controls for managing calls and notifications. The rollout is part of TikTok’s broader effort to expand its communication tools beyond messaging, photos, videos, and voice notes.
