Italian automaker Fiat, part of Stellantis, has officially launched the all-electric Topolino in the United States, marking its entry into the country's growing market for lightweight urban electric vehicles.

The company plans to offer limited quantities of the 2026 Fiat Topolino and Topolino Dolcevita through select dealerships, with a starting retail price of $13,995, excluding destination and delivery charges.

Compact EV Designed for Urban Mobility

The Topolino is designed as a low-speed electric vehicle intended primarily for residential neighborhoods, resorts, and short-distance urban transportation.

It is powered by a 5.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering an estimated driving range of 46 miles (74 km) on a single charge.

The vehicle has a top speed of 19 mph (31 km/h). Fiat also plans to introduce an optional Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) package later this summer, increasing the maximum speed to 25 mph (40 km/h) and enabling the vehicle to operate on roads where LSVs are permitted under U.S. regulations.

Two Distinct Versions

The Topolino will be available in two variants:

• Fiat Topolino

• Fiat Topolino Dolcevita

Both versions feature styling inspired by classic Italian design, including a Verde Vita exterior finish, 14-inch wheels with vintage-style covers, LED lighting, and either a panoramic glass roof or a retractable fabric roof, depending on the trim level.

Dimensions and Charging

The compact EV measures approximately:

• Length: 8 feet 3 inches (2.53 m)

• Width: 4 feet 7 inches (1.39 m)

• Height: 5 feet 1 inch (1.55 m)

• Weight: 1,073 pounds (487 kg)

Its battery can be fully recharged in approximately five hours using a 2.3 kW charger, making it suitable for overnight charging and everyday urban use.

With its affordable price and compact footprint, Fiat is positioning the Topolino as a practical electric mobility option for city driving and short daily trips in the U.S. market.
