Honda to Launch 2026 ZR-V and CR-V SUVs in Egypt This August
Honda's Egyptian distributor, Al Nile Trade & Engineering, will introduce the 2026 Honda ZR-V and CR-V in August, offering both SUVs exclusively in the fully equipped High Line trim after delays caused by recent geopolitical developments.
Egypt's Honda distributor, Al Nile Trade & Engineering, a subsidiary of Al-Futtaim Egypt, is preparing to launch the 2026 Honda ZR-V and CR-V in the Egyptian market at the beginning of August.
A company source told Al Borsa that the new models will be offered exclusively in the top-spec High Line trim, replacing the Base Line variant that was previously available.
The source explained that the launch of the 2026 models was delayed due to recent geopolitical disruptions, which affected the company's rollout schedule and forced it to postpone the launch until market conditions became more favorable.
The company has also approached Honda Motor to discuss the possibility of introducing the 2027 model lineup during the fourth quarter of this year. The move aims to ensure a steady supply of new vehicles, reduce the gap caused by the delayed arrival of the 2026 models, strengthen the company's competitiveness, and better meet demand in the Egyptian market.
Honda ZR-V
According to current pricing, the 2025 Honda ZR-V is available in Egypt in a single trim level priced at EGP 2.1 million. The company also offers the model through Egypt's free zone sales program for eligible customers.
The ZR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 180 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission.
Honda CR-V
The 2025 Honda CR-V is also sold in a single trim level, priced at EGP 2.75 million in the local market. It is likewise available through the company's free zone sales channel.
The SUV is equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 188 horsepower and 240 Nm of maximum torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
