MANEAST, a Mansour family-owned company and the exclusive distributor of Soueast vehicles in Egypt, has introduced two new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUVs to the local market: the Soueast S06 DM and the Soueast S08 DM, with prices starting from EGP 1.65 million.

Mahmoud Gamil, CEO of MANEAST, said the launch reflects the company's commitment to bringing the latest Soueast models to Egyptian customers following the successful introduction of four models over the past year.

He revealed that the company has sold 10,000 vehicles within just 11 months of entering the Egyptian market and plans to begin local assembly of the Soueast S06 during the fourth quarter of 2027.

Gamil added that MANEAST currently operates 23 sales outlets and eight after-sales service centers, with plans to expand the network to 30 sales points and 10 service centers in the near future.

Six New Models Planned

Karim Shehata, Marketing and Sales Director at MANEAST, said the company intends to further strengthen its product lineup by launching six new Soueast models over the next three years, expanding its presence in Egypt's fast-growing SUV market.

Ahmed Ali, Marketing Manager, highlighted the company's customer support package, which includes:

• 6-year or 150,000 km engine warranty

• 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty

• 4 years or 60,000 km of free scheduled maintenance, whichever comes first

He said these after-sales benefits reinforce customer confidence and position the vehicles as reliable options for Egyptian buyers seeking advanced SUV technology and strong performance.

Soueast S06 DM

The Soueast S06 DM is available in a single trim level priced at EGP 1.65 million.

The SUV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor.

• Gasoline engine torque: 310 Nm

• Electric motor output: 141 hp

• Electric motor torque: 215 Nm

The combined hybrid system delivers:

• 356 horsepower

• 530 Nm of combined torque

Power is transmitted through a dedicated DHT automatic transmission designed for hybrid systems, driving the front wheels.

The combined hybrid system produces:

• 360 horsepower

• 530 Nm of total torque

The vehicle accelerates from 60 km/h to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, highlighting its strong performance credentials.
