Raya Auto, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, has officially launched the all-electric XPENG P7+ in Egypt for the first time, with a starting price of EGP 2.15 million.
The vehicle is offered in a single, fully equipped trim level, marking the latest addition to Egypt's growing electric vehicle market.
XPENG Climbs Egypt's Automotive Rankings
Mohamed El-Naggar, Chief Executive Officer of Raya Auto, said the Chinese EV brand XPENG has steadily strengthened its position in the Egyptian market since its introduction two years ago.
According to El-Naggar, the brand initially ranked 15th in Egypt's monthly vehicle licensing report, later climbed to 10th, and has now reached 5th place, reflecting growing consumer demand and expanding market presence.
Performance and Electric Range
The XPENG P7+ is powered by an electric motor producing 230 kW (313 horsepower) and delivers a driving range of up to 530 kilometers on a single charge, making it suitable for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
Dimensions and Cargo Capacity
The electric sedan features generous dimensions, including:
Length: 5,071 mm
Width: 1,937 mm
Height: 1,512 mm
Wheelbase: 3,000 mm
20-inch alloy wheels
The luggage compartment offers 573 liters of cargo space, expanding to 1,931 liters with the rear seats folded.
Ultra-Fast Charging Technology
The XPENG P7+ utilizes an 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging capabilities.
Using a compatible DC fast charger, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes, providing enough energy for up to 400 kilometers of driving.
Raya Auto Reports Strong Revenue Growth
Raya Auto also reported strong financial performance during the first quarter of 2026, with revenues increasing 30.5% year-on-year to EGP 441 million, compared with EGP 338 million in the same period of 2025.
The company attributed the growth to higher vehicle sales and increased demand for after-sales services.
