Market Trends

According to automotive expert Samir Allam, the models leading Egypt’s sales charts share key advantages, including competitive pricing and the availability of spare parts.

He noted that other models such as Chevrolet Optra and Proton offer attractive features and strong value, but some struggle to achieve similar sales volumes due to concerns over parts availability and maintenance costs.

Allam also emphasized that vehicle sales in Egypt are highly seasonal, typically increasing during the summer months and slowing at the beginning of the academic year and during Ramadan, when consumer spending priorities shift. As a result, he argues that quarterly comparisons provide a more accurate measure of market performance than monthly figures.
