Egyptian clean technology company NoorNation has announced the deployment of its LifeBox™ solar-powered water desalination system in Tajikistan through a partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), marking another milestone for Egyptian innovation in delivering sustainable water solutions to global markets.

LifeBox™ Systems Installed at Healthcare Facilities

As part of the project, two LifeBox™ units have been installed at healthcare facilities in the Farkhor and Dusti districts of Tajikistan. Powered entirely by solar energy, the systems provide access to safe drinking water, helping strengthen healthcare services in remote communities with limited infrastructure.

According to NoorNation, the LifeBox™ platform features a modular plug-and-play design that enables rapid installation, straightforward scalability, and reliable operation in off-grid and underserved locations.

Egyptian Innovation Expands Globally

The company said the project demonstrates the ability of Egyptian-developed technology to address global water challenges through sustainable and scalable solutions.

NoorNation added that it continues to expand its international footprint by delivering innovative solar energy and water desalination technologies to support communities facing water scarcity around the world.
