Egypt Summit for the Best 2026 Honors Five Innovative Startups
The Egypt Summit for the Best 2026 recognized five leading Egyptian startups for their innovation, scalability, and contribution to digital transformation, highlighting the growing role of entrepreneurship in supporting the country's digital economy.
The 11th edition of the Egypt Summit for the Best 2026 honored five of Egypt's leading startups in recognition of their innovative business models and their contributions to digital transformation and the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem, highlighting the rapid growth of Egypt's startup sector.
The awards ceremony was attended by Bassel Rahmy, CEO of Egypt's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), who presented the awards to the winning companies, underscoring the agency's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and helping startups scale their businesses as key drivers of economic growth and job creation.
Five Startups Recognized
Among the honorees was Nawy, the proptech company specializing in digital real estate buying, selling, and investment solutions. The award was received by Abdel Azim Othman, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer.
Octane, which provides digital payment solutions and fleet expense management services for businesses, was also recognized. The award was accepted by Amr Gamal, the company's CEO.
Nawah received the Best Startup award in recognition of its advanced scientific research and laboratory services, as well as its contribution to strengthening innovation and research and development (R&D). The award was accepted by Dr. Omar Shoukry, Founder and CEO.
The list of winners also included Money Fellows, a leading fintech company offering digital savings and group financing solutions. The award was received by Ahmed Wadi, Founder and CEO.
In addition, SwipeX, which specializes in fintech solutions and corporate payment and expense management platforms, was honored. The award was accepted by Ahmed Mokhtar, Co-Founder and CEO.
Recognition Based on Innovation and Impact
The summit organizers said the winners were selected based on criteria including innovation, scalability, economic impact, and their ability to deliver technology-driven solutions that address market challenges while strengthening Egypt's position as a regional hub for entrepreneurship and the digital economy.
The awards reflect the summit's commitment to supporting startups that represent the future of Egypt's economy by spotlighting high-potential companies capable of driving innovation, sustainable growth, and job creation, in line with the country's vision of building a knowledge- and technology-based economy.
