Khalifa Fund Launches National Accelerator for UAE Cybersecurity Startups
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has partnered with the UAE Cyber Security Council and CyberE71 to launch a national accelerator program aimed at helping cybersecurity startups scale through mentorship, partnerships, and access to investors.
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has launched a specialized national program to support and accelerate the growth of cybersecurity startups in partnership with the UAE Cyber Security Council.
The initiative was announced during an event hosted at MZN Hub Al Ain, attended by Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, and Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development.
Supporting the UAE's Cybersecurity Innovation Ecosystem
The program builds on an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Khalifa Fund and the UAE Cyber Security Council, which established a framework for collaboration in promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and strengthening the country's cybersecurity ecosystem.
As part of this strategic partnership, the new accelerator was developed in collaboration with CyberE71 to help cybersecurity startups across the UAE scale their businesses and commercialize innovative solutions.
Accelerating Startup Growth
The program aims to attract, develop, and support startups operating in the cybersecurity sector through a comprehensive acceleration journey that enables entrepreneurs to build scalable, market-ready cybersecurity solutions.
It is also designed to strengthen startups' readiness to capitalize on opportunities within the UAE's national cybersecurity ecosystem.
Comprehensive Support for Entrepreneurs
Participants will gain access to an integrated support platform that includes specialized mentorship, partnership-building opportunities, and networking with industry experts, investors, and key stakeholders.
These resources are intended to help startups expand their operations, improve competitiveness, and grow within one of the world's fastest-growing and most strategically important technology sectors.
The Khalifa Fund said the initiative reflects its ongoing collaboration with the UAE Cyber Security Council and highlights the importance of its partnership with CyberE71 in creating a supportive environment where cybersecurity startups can access expertise, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities needed to develop innovative solutions and compete both regionally and globally.
