The annual ranking recognizes executive leaders, founders, and business figures who have delivered measurable economic impact across the Middle East, highlighting achievements based on performance rather than media visibility.

Selection Based on Measurable Business Performance

Resilience and sustainability

Eligible executives must lead companies with substantial operations in the region, supported by documented operational and financial records, and must have served in their leadership role for at least one year.

Recognition for Urban Development Leadership

El-Qoussy was recognized in the real estate sector for leading MIDAR's strategy to develop integrated and sustainable urban communities that support Egypt's urban expansion plans.

MIDAR has established itself as one of Egypt's leading master developers, overseeing large-scale urban projects designed to create modern, mixed-use communities.

More Than 25 Years of Industry Experience

El-Qoussy brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment and urban development, having held several executive leadership positions before taking the helm at MIDAR.

Under his leadership, the company has accelerated the development of Mostakbal City and MADA, two flagship urban projects in East Cairo that combine residential, commercial, administrative, and service components within smart and sustainable communities supported by advanced infrastructure.

Expanding Strategic Partnerships

During El-Qoussy's tenure, MIDAR has strengthened partnerships with local, regional, and international real estate developers, as well as leading engineering consultancy firms.

These collaborations have supported increased investment, accelerated project delivery, and reinforced the company's commitment to international standards in quality, infrastructure, and sustainability.

MIDAR continues to expand its role as a master developer by providing an integrated investment environment that supports real estate developers while contributing to the creation of modern cities capable of accommodating Egypt's growing population and economy.

Recognition of Long-Term Impact

The inclusion of Ayman El-Qoussy in CNBC Arabia's 2026 list reflects both MIDAR's growing position within Egypt's urban development sector and his leadership in driving strategic projects, strengthening investment partnerships, and promoting sustainable, innovation-driven development across the region.
