START 2026 Summit Highlights Key Steps for Building a Successful Business
Dr. Mohamed Hossam Khadr urged young entrepreneurs at START 2026 to focus on developing expertise, gaining practical experience, and learning from early-stage success stories to build sustainable businesses.
At the second session of the START 2026 Summit, held as part of the Social Solidarity Units initiative at universities, business and entrepreneurship consultant Dr. Mohamed Hossam Khadr discussed the topic, "How to Start a Business."
Khadr emphasized that mastering a professional skill or area of expertise is the foundation of personal and business success. He noted that building real experience in a chosen field enables entrepreneurs to better understand market needs and transform ideas into sustainable ventures.
He warned that many startups fail due to poor planning and execution, stressing the importance of developing specialized skills that create stronger opportunities for partnerships and competitiveness. Khadr also encouraged young entrepreneurs to learn from successful role models at their early stages rather than comparing their beginnings to achievements built over years of experience.
